Community Guidelines.

Rules every Hola user must follow, and how we keep our community safe.

01Introduction

CHRONOSEIZE 42 TECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Hola mobile application ("Hola" or "Service"). These Community Guidelines explain the rules every user must follow on Hola and how we keep our community safe.

By using Hola, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and CSAE Policy.

02Who Hola Is For

Hola is an AI companion app for emotional wellness, casual conversation, and friendly support. It is available to users in India in Hindi, Hinglish, English, and other Indian languages.

Hola is strictly for users aged 18 years and above. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to use the Service.

03AI Companion Transparency

All companions on Hola are artificial intelligence powered by large language models. They are not real people.

  • The AI nature of every companion is clearly disclosed in the Play Store listing, during onboarding, on each companion's profile, and within the chat interface
  • No companion represents or impersonates a real person
  • AI companions are designed to provide friendly conversation and emotional support, not professional advice
  • Hola is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical treatment

04What Is Allowed

Hola is meant for:

  • Casual, friendly conversation with AI companions
  • Sharing how you feel and getting a listening ear
  • Light emotional support during everyday ups and downs
  • Mood tracking, games, and wellness activities
  • Conversation in the language you are most comfortable with

05What Is Not Allowed

To keep Hola safe for everyone, users must not:

Sexual or Adult Content

  • Send sexual, pornographic, or sexually suggestive messages
  • Attempt to use AI companions for sexual roleplay or explicit content
  • Share nudity, partial nudity, or sexually explicit imagery

Harm to Self or Others

  • Send content that promotes violence, harm to others, or self-harm
  • Share content glorifying suicide or dangerous behaviour

Hate and Harassment

  • Send hateful, abusive, or discriminatory content based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, or disability
  • Harass, threaten, or bully others
  • Use slurs or hate speech

Child Safety

  • Share any content that involves minors in an unsafe or inappropriate way (see our CSAE Policy for full details)
  • Attempt to use AI companions to generate content involving minors

Prohibited Services

  • Use Hola for prostitution, escort services, sugar dating, mail-order matchmaking, or any form of compensated companionship
  • Promote hook-up, fling, swinger, affair, or fetish content
  • Use Hola to arrange in-person meetings of any transactional nature

Illegal Activity

  • Use Hola for fraud, scams, money laundering, or any illegal activity
  • Share or request illegal goods, drugs, or weapons
  • Violate applicable Indian laws or regulations

Misuse of the Platform

  • Try to break, hack, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access the Service
  • Attempt to manipulate the AI to bypass safety filters
  • Impersonate any person, brand, or entity
  • Collect data about other users

06How We Keep Hola Safe

We take user safety seriously and have multiple safeguards in place:

Content Moderation

  • AI content filters block sexual content, hate speech, self-harm content, and other harmful material in conversations
  • Pattern recognition systems identify abuse attempts and grooming behaviour
  • AI companions are designed to redirect, refuse, or escalate conversations that touch sensitive areas

Crisis Support

  • Multi-language crisis detection routes users to verified Indian mental health helplines when distress is detected
  • AI companions never replace emergency services and clearly direct users to seek professional help in crisis situations

Human Review

  • A trained moderation team reviews flagged content
  • Regular audits of AI responses ensure safety and quality
  • We continuously improve our safety systems

Age Protection

  • Age verification at signup
  • Immediate account termination if a user is found to be a minor
  • Zero tolerance for any attempt to bypass age restrictions

07Reporting a Problem

If you see anything that breaks these Guidelines, please report it:

  • In-App: Use the report option inside the chat
  • Email: help@holaapp.in
  • Emergency: For life-threatening situations, contact local emergency services immediately

08Consequences of Violations

Users who break these Guidelines may face:

  • A warning
  • Temporary suspension of the account
  • Permanent termination of the account
  • Loss of any active subscription with no refund
  • Reporting to law enforcement when required by law
